Proven Perjury?
The claim is being made that Charles Taze Russell was a proven perjurer. However, this “proof” of perjury does not come from any legal charge of perjury leveled against Russell from any court, but rather the “proof” is in misrepresentation of the facts as offered by one J. J. Ross, who published his accusation of perjury in a book entitled “Some Facts and More Facts About the Self-Styled ‘Pastor’ Charles T. Charles Russell, born in 1852, Allegheny, Pa., in a Adv. church, was not recognized in any of. the churches he had attended, as a co-sponsor of a religious zionest believers, of a post civil war reconstruction period in America, popularity grew. I am not sure what you are trying to say, as what is stated isn’t presented coherently.
I am assuming that this is saying that Russell was born in an Adventist church? If so, there is no record that Brother Russell had any contact with the Second Adventists (not to be confused with the Seventh-Day Adventists) until his late teens. If the thought is in reference to an SDA church, there is no record that Russell ever attended any SDA church at all anytime in his life.
I don’t know what this is trying so say, and thus will not reply to the above. Perhaps it could restated in a manner that shows what point(s) are being promoted?
This appears to be saying that Russell believed that Christians should keep Saturday as the sabbath rather than Sunday? If so, that is incorrect. He did believe the Jewish sabbath was from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, but he never taught that keeping the Jewish sabbath was given to Christians.
